In line with the “Occupational Health and Safety Implementation Guide for Public Universities,” revised and published in January 2025 by the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Labour and Social Security, information meetings were held in all units of our University regarding the obligations, processes, and occupational health and safety activities specified in the Guide.

During these meetings, unit managers and employees were informed about risk assessment, emergency planning, employee training, health surveillance, inspection of work equipment, use of personal protective equipment, and other occupational health and safety requirements stipulated in the legislation. A roadmap for the implementation of the Guide was also shared.

In addition, in accordance with the Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety Boards, Occupational Health and Safety Boards have been established in units with 50 or more employees, and board meetings are held regularly within the scope of the Regulation.

Our Coordination Office continues to carry out coordination activities for the implementation of the Guide and the relevant provisions of the legislation.
